A traffic signal will be installed next week to replace the current four-way stop at the Ane Keohokalole Highway and Kealakehe Parkway intersection in North Kona.
Construction starts May 20 and is expected to last through Sept. 17, according to the Hawaii County Department of Public Works.
One-lane closures will be in effect on weekdays, with the exception of holidays, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the county.
